Well not quite, but the tax man has had a long runing dispute with Mr Gaines-Cooper who thought he followed HMRC guidelines (IR 20) and as such was an X resident for tax purposes having bought a home in Sri Lanka. However the tax man has recently challenged his status applying other factors regading his lifestyle.
